Epílogo "Tendrás que pensártelo"

What an enriching experience this has been! I've reflected a lot on many things... and learned a lot! First of all, I'm in charge of my life: nobody can't decide for me, I have this responsibility (luckily :-)!) As Bob Marley says in a famous song
Emancipate yourself from mental slavery
none but ourselves can free our minds
So whether we like it or not, we're in charge of making decisions... Sometimes we're right and soetimes we're wrong, it's within us to take a few minutes and reflect about what we do so as to learn from those mistakes we make...
I leave this link for everybody as a gift, hope you enjoy yourselves!! http://www.alanis.com/
Feeling alive is great: sometimes it's not the best moment, but once we get over, it's worth it!!
Long and wonderful life for all of you!!!

How nice to see the spirit you're in, Andrea!A. Morisette's lyrics are beautiful indeed, and though I'd heard the song before, I'd never paid attention to its words, I'm afraid, so thanks!

Just two lines on Bob Marley's words: though I do agree, I hope educators can indeed contribute to "freeing other's minds"... After all, that's what giving someone an education means to me!

Most of our choices will always be both right and wrong to some extent, I feel... It's my wish that man learns to live through "the bad times" without "rushing", that we all somehow manage to enjoy this beautiful chance we've been given...

Warmly,
Gladys

I couldn't agree more Gladys! I strongly believe we can help our students throughout their lives, trying always to let them think for themselves... We can`t decide for them but we can be with them when they need us.

Andrea

Hi andre,
After reading your entry, I realize that after all we are very lucky, as you say, about being the responsibles for our lifes, and decisions!!
Thanks for make me notice this!!
